Flexitricity Generation was created as Flexitricity recently merged with Velox Power to operate under the single brand of “Flexitricity”. Velox Power is another wholly owned portfolio company of Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners.
A dedicated team
Our Generation team is dedicated to addressing the power system security issues that arise from the growth of intermittent renewable capacity on the grid as the UK moves to net zero. We construct, own, and operate a diverse portfolio of projects with a team of over 70 managing a 366MW portfolio of operational and development stage assets across 51 sites in England, Scotland and Wales.
Technology
We use the latest technology to operate our sites and help us keep our assets in peak condition. Constantly monitoring and gathering data helps us understand the situation on the ground from anywhere in the world. Leveraging the latest technologies, we can view all our sites from a range of devices, including mobile, helping us to react quickly and optimise our portfolio.
Engineering
Flexitricity employs a team of highly skilled engineers to operate our generation assets. Our regional teams of engineers take on everything from simple engine service through to complete engine overhauls. Our custom-built workshop in Warrington is home to our central engineering team who take on rebuilds in-house and support their regional colleagues.
